That's very good, you can see the positive impact of smoking cessation on your physical fitness will starts appearing soon after quitting. Purification of the lungs takes a very long time although your lungs may become cleaner over the time. Eat fruits, green and leafy vegetables for detox you lungs. Dear Lybrate user. I can understand. Weed addiction comes under substance abuse and addiction. Deaddiction treatment is best suited for such addictions. Medically assisted drug detoxification or alcohol detoxification alone is ineffective as a treatment for addiction. The national institute on drug abuse (nida) recommends detoxification followed by both medication (where applicable) and behavioral therapy, followed by relapse prevention.
