All fruits are essential for our health. There are some fruits which should not be taken at particular time. For eg. Bananas can be taken in lunch but not at night as it will increase weight. Apple in breakfast but not night as it will be difficult to digest. Oranges, in snacks but not in breakfast as they are citrus fruits and will call acidity and gastritis if taken empty stomach in breakfast. And so on. Fruits are good only on an empty stomach or immediately after a work out. You can have fruits after 2 and a half hours of your meal. Papaya guava are good options at night

Fruits are high in fiber which help feel full if taken at night but also have unwanted calories if you are trying to lose weight. Still the low sugar fruits can be had in moderate amounts such as guava, apple, orange, papaya etc.

At times we don't take the right foods at the right time. Just incorporatinga certain food usually does not help. It's all a matter of overall balanced intake.
Also you may have a higer metabolism so you may need to give your self time.
Eat meals at frequent intervals.
Eat a mid meal between each main meal.
Avoid junk foods.
Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals.
Avoid alcohol and smoking.
Exercise at least thrice a week.

Firstly understand that weight gain is very dependent on genetics and metabolism.
It is important to know that just eating just two heavy meals a day will not help. Eating the right foods at the right time is very important.
