All fruits are essential for our health. There are some fruits which should not be taken at particular time. For eg. Bananas can be taken in lunch but not at night as it will increase weight. Apple in breakfast but not night as it will be difficult to digest. Oranges, in snacks but not in breakfast as they are citrus fruits and will call acidity and gastritis if taken empty stomach in breakfast. And so on. Gaining weight is often more difficult and time consuming than weight loss. Often one ends up with wrong food choices when it comes to weight gain thinking we just have to eat to gain weight. At times we don't take the right foods at the right time. Just incorporatinga certain food usually does not help. It's all a matter of overall balanced intake.
Also you may have a higer metabolism so you may need to give your self time.
Eat meals at frequent intervals.
Eat a mid meal between each main meal.
Avoid junk foods.
Include dairy eggs nuts fruits in your meals.
Avoid alcohol and smoking.
Exercise at least thrice a week.
