Hi lybrate-user, implants can be immediately put in the socket after extraction except for the cases where infection is present. If not done, they can now be put only after atleast 3 months. After extraction it takes about 1 month for complete healing of wound and 3 months for complete healing of bone inside. But the strict precautions should be taken for 24 hrs. There is a possibility that the adjacent teeth were also affected during the accident. Proper examination by a dentist and radiographs are needed for accurate diagnosis. It is probable that one tooth broke but the impact of fall traumatised the neighbouring tooth also.

Nothing would happen gaps close eventually ... With braces.. yes it does hurt after extraction /removal of tooth . ..but it gets ok in three to five days ..constant and proper follow up with doctor .. will help you better in this procedure .. so that you know what's happening on your teeth .. braces are there for a period of 12 to 15 months.. ..eventually a six month follow up with you if you have any problem ...
