Lumps under the chin are usually harmless. Most of the time, they’re caused by swollen lymph nodes. This swelling is typically triggered by an infection.

Usually, swollen lymph nodes aren't a reason to worry. They’re simply a sign that your immune system is fighting an infection or illness
but make sure the size does not grow or they are not painful if it is growing in size and painful then we might need biopsy

it shows probably infected / inflammatory as there is preserved fatty hilum. No need of biopsy now. As a clinician more history is needed to arrive at diagnosis. No chance of malignancy.

Needs a bit more information like discuss regarding the reasons

you have not specified the location is the lymph nodes So it's difficult to tell whether it is something abnormal but swollen lymph nodes do suggest that body is going through some form of infection
