Once the inflammation gets reduced, the shrinkage of disc will happen. For that you need to undergo a physiotherapy treatment atleast for 3-4 weeks. Avoid putting much weight over the impinged area. Wear a lumbar corset to avoid weight bearing and mcr chappals to act as a shock absorber and reduce the weight over the foot.
