Hello lybrate-user. You should take ors mixed in 1 glass of water after every loose motion episode. Eat 2 bananas/ day. Drink coconut water or lemon juice. If you still have fever take norflox-tz 400 mg tablet- once a day for 3 days. Consult me if you have any other issues.

Yes it can be given, ibugesic plus contain' ibuprofen & paracetamol'dose will be according to body weight
for ibuprofen 10 mg per kg body weight, 6 hourly for paracetamol 15 mg per kg body weight.

Not mentioned whether treatment is taken from a qualified doctor. Age of child and other complaints are also not mentioned. For fever beyond 4 days, doctors or child specialists have to physically examine the child, usually prescribe necessary investigations and arrive at diagnosis to further treat the child. Til such time Paracetamol or similar medicines and cold water sponging is to be continued as necessary.
