I believe there are two parts to this question a) if you got the correct advice
b) if its possible.
I'll answer the second first. Pediatric dentists handle children as young as 3 days old. Rct in 4 years old is very common and possible. However the child's compliance can not be predicted. Hence ait is strongly advised to get the procedure done by a pediatric dentist/pedodontist.
A) you have yourself written that the kid has cavities. I have no reason to believe that any wrong advice ...more

It's completely understandable to be worried about this situation. Leaving cotton in for 5 days after a tooth extraction can increase the risk of complications, so it's important to address it right away.
Here's what you need to do:
1. Contact your dentist as soon as possible: this is the most important step. Don't try to remove the cotton yourself, as this could further irritate the extraction site. Your dentist will be able to remove it safely and assess the condition of the wound.

Unfortunately, the term "cavity wave" is not a recognized medical term in the context of infectious diseases. It's likely a misinterpretation or misunderstanding of a specific condition or outbreak. To address your concerns accurately, I need more information:
source of information: knowing where you heard about the "cavity wave" in china can help clarify what you might be referring to. Was it news, social media, or personal communication?
Possible conditions: could you be thinking of a ...more

Dental bridge ko lagate samay, agar proper bite nahi milta hai, to dentist bridge ke upar wale teeth ka kuch enamel rubbed karte hain taki bridge ko sahi tarah se fit kar sakein. Yeh process "adjustment" ke naam se jaani jati hai.

All food & drink containing sugar, sticky food, dry mouth, improper oral hygiene that includes improper brushing, flossing, & tongue cleaning can cause tooth decay.
There is no medicine or vaccines to stop or prevent tooth decay.
Rampant caries progresses at a faster rate in children and it involves multiple teeth. It’s also called nursing bottle caries as the decay spreads due to feeding milk during the night & putting the baby or children to sleep without brushing. Hence early diagnos...more

Professional cleaning of teeth n gums r really necessary every 6 months at a dental clinic. Other than that one needs to brush twice daily and you can also use mouthwash with proper dilution to maintain oral hygiene. Dental flosses r recommended for interdental cleaning of plaque and food debris that gets trapped between teeth n create infection.
