No. Rinse your mouth thoroughly with a mouth wash. Do not fidget with tongue or finger. Maintain oral hygiene for better healing. Dental tips: - limit sugary food. Scrub gently to clean your tongue with a tongue cleaner. Floss all your teeth inter dentally & brush twice daily, morning & night, up & down short vertical strokes, with ultra-soft bristles, indicator brush.

Do rinses with tolerable hot water with 1/4th teaspoon of salt in it about 7-8 times a day. Apply rexidin m on the affected gum area 3 times a day for a week. If it does subside then visit dentist near by. Hope it helps.

please take some vitamin supplements for a month. Most of the parasthesia get to normal in few days and some times it takes longer. You will start feeling normal slowly as the nerve heals depending on the damage caused by the wisdom tooth or infection in the area. Sometimes unavoidable damage occurs during surgery. Do not worry.
