If you feel any kind of discomfort then visit your dentist and get it checked again, if not then there is no need to worry. Sometime it takes few days to adjust to the bite as your teeth are use to the space being empty.

First it would be better to know on which surface the restoration has been done. Try maintaining proper oral hygiene as advised by your dental surgeon.

Yes, scaling you do before or later does not matter.
Important question is, what is causing you problem more than the other if you have pain, sensitivity, swelling, unbearable pain, so obvious you will want to get rid of that first. But if you feel you want to get rid of deposits first because you are having bleeding, you not liking the deposit, bad breath, etc. And that is more than the pain from tooth then definitely scaling.
Everything depends on what is the complaint you have when yo...more

You need to undergo complete scaling of your teeth with some antibiotics, mouthwash and vit c supplements for pyorrhoea. For hole in tooth you need to get it rct treated and crowned (cap). Rest dentist will find out after doing x ray what should be the appropriate treatment for the tooth with hole. Thanks.

Hello lybrate-user removing all teeth are not advisable, but it also depends on the condition of the teeth, if all are moving and there a lot of cavity and tooth cannot be saved, so it is advisable to remove rather than to keep in the mouth. But the point what to do after removing the teeth.

Hello
as you have mentioned you have problem while eating hard food there can be many reasons for this. The most common reason is pyorrhoea or periodontitis. So when the bone support of the teeth becomes less that is usual as the age grows, that is when the teeth are not able to bite on hard food with efficiency.
But for a better clarity and better diagnosis I would request you to upload some photographs or better just visit a dentist and get some x-rays done so that a proper diagnosis a...more

Hello Lybrate user. The gingival soreness or infections may be associated with stress. So I advice you to consult a general physician regarding other diseases for permanent relief. Do scaling. Brush your teeth twice a day. Use dental floss. Use interdental brushes. Then the soreness will subside gradually. Consult me for further details. Thank you.
