I blackout in the office, my colleague said I did not hit my head anywhere. Though one of the colleague said that the temple in my left side was red. Since then, I have a swelling in the head near my temple and inside the hair. The pain sometimes is severe. I went ro hospital they said the blood work is normal and the ct scan is normal. I still feel the swell in my head and the throbbing pain. Sometime is too severe to endure and it will subside by itself. It been more one month now. The pain won't subside, now sometimes it will flare up to point that I just want to hit my head or press my head so hard to make it stop. Sometimes together with the pain I will feel like vomiting but nothing come out. The eyebrow is swelling constantly. I feel weak after the head ache flare up, like I am drain. Sometimes I will also feel like having hard tym breathing when the flare up starts.

It really does not matter much about redness, swelling or pain over forehead or scalp seen. Complaints of persistent and long standing throbbing headache, vomiting sensation, actual vomiting sometimes unsteadiness are the complaints which are to be taken bit seriously. Just some swelling inside the skull called cerebral concussion to possible bleed inside depending on its degree gives worsening of above symptoms. The exact cause of your fall called a syncopal attack needs to be explored clearly....more

Headaches are generally classified by cause:

Primary headaches
A primary headache is caused by problems with or overactivity of pain-sensitive structures in your head. A primary headache isn't a symptom of an underlying disease. Chemical activity in your brain, the nerves or blood vessels of your head outside your skull, or muscles of your head and neck — or some combination of these factors — may play a role in primary headaches. Some people may carry genes that make them more like...more

Our spinal disk resembles a jelly doughnut, wherein the softer insides are protected by the hard exterior. Sometimes, as a result of some injury or an accident, the jelly slips out, leading to an extremely painful condition which in medical parlance is known as herniated disc. The pain that you are subjected to, during herniated disc, occurs as the nerves nearby are damaged due to the concussion.

Apart from pain, herniated disc is preceded by other symptoms, some of them are:

Hi, I would suggest that you do the following, please get a ct scan done, although a ct scan is recommended to be done immediately after any injury to the head to rule out concussion or any damage, but you can still get it done, just to rule out any kind of blood clot or any kind of vascular damage in the brain. Also, I would suggest that you do a mri scan of the neck (cervical spine) as it will show if there is any nerve damage due to your accident or an herniated disc, etc. Please also get you...more

The longest nerve in the body is the sciatic nerve. The sciatic nerve starts from the lower part of the spine, through your hip to the back of the leg.
