Hi team, since last 2 weeks, I have a severe headache, which I got after a small accident while getting down from a bus. My head got bumped into the speaker of the bus. I have hypertension too, I showed to one of the doctors near by and was informed that it could be cervical pain, however, I do not feel comfortable with the answer. Should I go for a ct scan?

No, you can wait first fix your bp without any medicine change diet, lifestyle and Dr. first high bp is a lifestyle and dietary disease .it can be completely reversed without medicines with diet and lifestyle changes alone medicines will not work for any lifestyle and dietary disease. They only put a temporary fix and do not cure permanently. There is no need to take blood pressure medicines lifelong unless you have developed the complications of high blood pressure. Read the long term side effects of bp medicines before taking them. Otherwise, you will have to face the complications of the medicines also. Doctors lack nutrition knowledge never spend enough time with the patient to take a detailed dietary history and find out the root cause. Never believe in the lies told by doctors that you have to take bp medicines lifelong. They are completely misleading and misguiding you. General guidelines may or may not work .you have to take complete personal responsibility for your health and not your doctor. Why should you take medicines when most of the causes for high bp are completely reversible unless you have already developed complications of high bp. Get a dietary plan with recipes from me. Take consultation if you really value your health & you are serious about fixing your high bp permanently.

Hi, I would suggest that you do the following, please get a ct scan done, although a ct scan is recommended to be done immediately after any injury to the head to rule out concussion or any damage, but you can still get it done, just to rule out any kind of blood clot or any kind of vascular damage in the brain. Also, I would suggest that you do a mri scan of the neck (cervical spine) as it will show if there is any nerve damage due to your accident or an herniated disc, etc. Please also get your blood sugar, fasting and post lunch done and also your blood hba1c done, as usually in patients of hypertension, diabetes or hyperglycemia is commonly seen. The testing of blood sugar has nothing to do with your accident but high blood sugar may sometimes be a reason for severe headache in chronic hypertensive patient. Once the reports are done, a consultation is required for the accurate treatment. Hope this helps.
