If you are facing recurrent pain and swelling in the wisdom tooth region, then it definitely needs to be removed. Prior to that get an x ray of the concerned region done. Meanwhile you can do warm saline rinses for some relief. Visit an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the extraction procedure.

The swelling can be due to an injury to your gums while eating or because of wisdom tooth eruption or due to a decayed tooth etc. Clinical examination by a dentist is necessary for proper diagnosis. Meanwhile you can do warm saline rinses 2 to 3 times a day for some relief.

You should get an opg done. This will help evaluate the amount of decay, the position of your tooth roots as well as proximity of the roots to the underlying nerve. Then the decision can be taken whether to get it removed or not. Kindly consult an oral and maxillofacial surgeon for the same.

No you shud visit a dentist n get a proper radiograph done .if the tooth is tilted on either side ,it vl cause you pain again and again and in that case you vl have to surgically remove it ie the tooth. But if the tooth is in straight line the dentist vl just cut off the extra gum covering your tooth so as to prevent food accumulation and infection there.
