I have been facing a issue of mild upper back pain in left side for 6 months which comes randomly and goes by taking some rest. I have minor left side breast pain also which comes 10 days before periods and gets dull after periods. I went to gynaecologist one month ago she found no lump. She gave me contraceptive pills and vit b6 tablet as my iron was very low. And at the same time I went to physician for back pain. He said it’s due to anxiety and prescribed anti-anxiety tablet for 10 days. Yes I have been suffering this anxiety issue since 2015 which comes and goes with the time and every time it comes with the new symptoms which scares me a lot. I got relief from other body aches but the pain in my back and breast is still there which comes and goes randomly. Should I go for the other doctor (which one) and take any body test?

Dear lybrate-user
first of all pl accept my condolences for your mom's demise. I can understand how hard it is for you without your mom. As per your query goes women with close relatives who've been diagnosed with breast cancer have a higher risk of developing the disease. If you've had one first-degree female relative (sister, mother, daughter) diagnosed with breast cancer, your risk is doubled. This is as per one report from uk.
This should not give you stress as there is a risk associ...more
