Take the positive aspect you have first. You do have a good appetite. Constipation and loose motions can be overcome when you have the right type of food. High fiber diet, fruits, vegetables, drink about 2 liters of water a day at least. This diet would even reduce the bloating feeling of the abdomen. Left side abdominal pain in your case is due to the small left renal stones. Since these are small, presently you may try taking at least 2 to 3 liters or more of fluids daily. This can wash out the stones in time. You may get an abdominal USG done once in 3 to 4 months to see for the status of the stones and consult an Urologist if they are getting bigger.

Having a 9 mm stone in the ureter is definitely not similar to a 9 mm stone in the gall bladder. In all probability, the uretric stone will cause uretric colic pain which can be severe, it may cause blood in urine, it may cause back pressure to the kidneys, and it usually needs to be removed. Not so for a gall bladder stone of similar size.

If he has gall bladder stone and if there is no obstruction in bile ducts then there is no hurry for the operation.
But if TMT which means Trade meal test then it is not an operation. It is a test for his heart function.
And for gall bladder stone you can start him on homoeopathic medicine.

Hi lybrate-user.
Kidney stones are different, gall stones if not causing any symptoms can be left, if they are causing problem and are too many in numbers it's better to get them removed.
