Dear sir, approximately 5-7 %cancers are hereditary, so it's not the must that one would suffer but certain cancers have more risk Of being hereditary like breast, ovarian, colon etc. Cancer stage means the size of tumour and it's spread. Grade means howmuch the tumour cells have deviated from the normal cells. Higher the stage or poorer the grade, worse is the prognosis.

Dear sir nearly 5-7 % cancers may be inherited, not all, but there can be common risk factors among close relatives like some industrial waste, soil, water pollution etc.
Stages means the local or distant spread of disease. It tells about how big the tumour is and where else the disease has gone.
Grade means how much the cells have changed from normal cells, well differentiated with better prognosis and poorly differentiatiated with worse prognosis.

Cancer is a genetic disease but only 5-7 %may be inherited. It is more related to lifestyle related factors like tobacco, pollution, pesticides, industrial affluent, smoke, chemicals in food, increased usage of plastics that triggers genetic changes than the hereditary factors. it's always good to be cautious.

A cytogenetic analysis will help assess the risk, if any, precisely and the same can then be managed appropriately. As a generic prophylactic measure, however, its advi...more
