Good evening lybrate-user,
bad reath is due to many reason considering your history and enlarged tonsil (lymph node), you most likely have chronic tonsillitis. Which may require a course of antibiotic therapy along with a good mouth wash for bad breath. You require a thorough examination of oral cavity before prescribing anything. You may need a consult.

Dear User, brush twice daily- before and after bed, avoid smoking and drink plenty of water. Use mouthwashes after eating before travelling and avoid milk or milk based products as they tend to leave a smell after swallowing. Mouthwashes are available at grocery stores and pharmacies. For medical grade mouthwash consult online for prescription. Good Luck.
