Rest, ice, compression, and elevation (rice) are the first steps following an ankle injury. After that, treatment depends on the specifics of the injury. Patellar tendinitis (patellar tendinopathy, also known as jumper's knee), is a relatively common cause of pain in the inferior patellar region in athletes. It is common with frequent jumping and studies have shown it may be associated with stiff ankle movement and ankle sprains

It's been approx. 3-4 that I fell on ground and got an ankle sprain. Initially was not able to walk for 1-2 days coz of swelling. I am having the following problems: 1. Till date, my swelling has not ended. 2. As of now I can walk properly but can not run. 3. I got x-ray and all was fine in it. 4. The swelling part feels something like bone but I can't say that for assurity. 5. I got regular tel malish from nearby pahalwan for 1 month still no improvement. 6. I got physiotherapy including wax bath and ultrasonic for one month still no improvement. Anywhere I go people/doctors/physiotherapist charge there fee and still they have no explanation or treatment for this than charging me money. I am utilising this platform after losing from every other source as per my knowledge. I request not as a doctor but as a human being, instead of just focusing on your fee can any1 please tell me as to what exactly this is and how can I fox this.

Hello,
If your ankle joint is ok in xray then do not worry about any fracture.
Apply ice twice daily for at least 5-7minutes.
Lift your leg and place on a pillow ,do active ankle downward and upward movement slowly.
You can also wear an ankle cap or crepe bange when walking.
Do not massage or apply oil on it.
No maalish.
Only icing, circular movement in air and pillow .
Rest.
Do this for a week.
