Sports injuries arise from exercising and playing sports like hockey, soccer and rugby among others. Dislocations, fractures, sprains and soft tissue injuries of the muscle are a part of sports injuries. Improper warm up and form, accidents and over exertion may be probable causes of this type of injury. Preventive measures like stretching and strengthening of the muscles can be taken to avoid these injuries. Pain relievers and RICE are usual treatments but severe cases may require surgery.
HOW IS SPORTS INJURY DIAGNOSED?
Landing from jumps with knees bent helps prevent sports injuries.
