Hi, Yasmin doesnât cause blood pressure problems. Itâs pretty safe drug. There are some contraindications of the drug hopefully theyâve been ruled out before prescribing. But overall itâs a safe drug. Sometimes bp can come low, itâs not a reason to worry if u arenât dehydrated, bleeding from anywhere, pulse is normal.

Hi. Yes I understand your problem. You followed everything very well but safety is better than to regret it later. Use ocps along with condom for better contraception as just condoms failure rate is more as you experienced .and wen you use ocps never misss a single dose. U should remember that. And one more thing please do not follow harsh methods like cleaning with a tissue inside the vagina all that, as that method will not help because there will be millions of sperms in the semen and only one sperm will meet with your egg but it depends on the egg release time. According to your case I cannot confirm but as you follow everything like using pills and little later than the egg release date. There are less chances that you conceive. But wait for one more week and get a pregnancy test if your periods do not come. Every patient will not have pregnancy symptoms so early. Before symptoms your test will become positive. To your knowledge symptoms will be like breast tenderness, nausea, vomiting, increase in frequency of urine. Few of these symptoms will be before your arrival of your periods too. So just wait for your periods and see. Donât get stressed and worried hope it ll be negative. Stay safe.

Hi lybrate-user. I think you have missed taking a tablet from the 21 pills. These should be taken everyday on time without missing a single day. Otherwise bleeding will start in between ie before finishing your course. And as a contraceptive it is not effective if you miss a single tablet. There are chances that you conceive if you miss the tablets. If you had started your periods already then start taking the complete course again. I mean leave the 8 pills.
