39 unmarried female taking yamini pills doctor give it for 6 months 6 pill left in my last pack of 6 month but now from 6 days sudden my bp become low 90/60 & feel weakness. Can it be side effect of pill. Can I stop it now (not take that 6 pill left) is it ok.

Yasmin is acontraceptive containing ,ethinyl estradiol anddrospirenon. Can also be used in pcod. But it will not produce bp fall. But if you feel weak, stop it. Forget about 6 tablets.

Hi, Yasmin doesn’t cause blood pressure problems. It’s pretty safe drug. There are some contraindications of the drug hopefully they’ve been ruled out before prescribing. But overall it’s a safe drug. Sometimes bp can come low, it’s not a reason to worry if u aren’t dehydrated, bleeding from anywhere, pulse is normal.
