Arsa is observed in approximately 2% of normal individuals. On the other hand, the reported incidence of arsa varies between 25 and 37% in cases with down syndrome and other chromosomal abnormalities. Nt/nb, dual marker tests are statistical reports giving per cent chances not yes or no. Anomaly scan rules out other abnormalities and indicators for down's or other chromosomal disaeas not yes or no for down's or other chromosomal. It is important to know limitations of each test instead of thinking it is normal.

In early pregnancy folic acid is enough. Iron and calcium are usually started by 4-5 months. Vaccination can be delayed and there is no urgency. Please remember during lock down period, the usual treatment may be hampered. You need further ultrasound as 1) combined test (nt scan and dual marker) to look for chromosomal problems in the baby by 11-13 weeks 2) anomaly scan to look for details of all the organs of the baby- by 19-20 weeks.
