hello i am sorry but lasik is not good idea when you halve cataract also i would recommend you to get cataract surgery with multifocal lens implantation ...this will help you to get rid of glasses

If you are having cataract ,you should go for phaco-emulsification with foldable lens (acryosof IQ ),you can have distance vision 6/5 without glass if properly lens power calculated before surgery. LASIK is not advisable once you are above 40 years old & you are having cataract also, with regards.
