My baby 3 y old wgt 13 kg. He was suffering cold cough since one week. yesterday he got fever 103 at 9 pm. Gave medicine meftal p 5 ml and he got fever again in morning 5 .at 8 he gotvagain 103 we gave meftal 5 ml .after that he feel better. Now at 1 pm he feeling cold and getting fever again. He is talking water & vomit. What we should do. Can you suggest medicine.

Give him paracetamol 175 mg 6 to 8 hourly. If fever is due to simple viral infection, it should be cured in 4 to 6 days. Even then get him checked properly by pediatrician to assess cause of fever n tt accordingly.
