I have bicornuate uterus. I am pregnant and by last usg on 19 jan showed 6 week 3 day pregnancy with no cardiac activity .I also had spotting and heavy bleeding on 18 nov. My doctor gave gave me hcg and progesterone injection injection biweekly. I wanted to why there is no cardiac activity still and why these injection are given.

It seems like a case of missed abortion, as no cardiac activity and heavy periods might have flushed out some. Part of your foetus, ideally on such a situation hcg and progesterone pills or injections are of no use as these pregnancy support pills and injections have not worked in your case, probably bcz ,either they were not given you well on time to save your pregnancy or there must have been some foetal anamoly which didn't allow these pills to show their effect.
