I have throat pain and I had smoked for one year and quited month ago, I am worried that I am developing a cancer tumour in throat please help me what is the problem and is it is cancer or other, and which type of doctors should I consult.

Smoking does cause cancer but one year is a very short period for such repercussion to take place. Don't get scared. Just consult an ENT. Relax till then. All the best.

Always a smoker should get regular check up every 2 years by specialist, even if you have quit. But your does not seem cancer but let a doctor examine you.
