Hi lybrate-user, I would recommend you cucumber and lemon for tanning with rose water. Cucumber and lemon, they have natural bleaching agents. And lemon is rich in vitamin c a good antioxidant and rose water has cooling properties. Use instruction: Take a tablespoon each of cucumber juice, lemon juice and rose water and mix in a bowl. Apply with cotton on tanned areas, wait for 10 minutes and wash off with cold water. Apply this pack every day. If you want to know more or any medical treatment, contact me again.

Hi, first of all I would like to know whether it is your normal skin shade or a sun tan. If it's your normal colour, then you need no medication but counselling. Don't feel inferior about dark shades. Nature is beauty. Concentrate to keep your skin healthy and glowing rather than bleaching. Understand that bleaching leads to skin damage when done repeatedly. To maintain healthy skin, drink plenty of water, take carrot, vitamin E capsules, do oil pulling. Avoid oily and spicy foods. Do pranayama and regular exercise. Externally apply multani matti with rose water. Avoid chemical creams and soaps. Use green gram powder to wash your face. If it's a sun tan apply sesame oil to your face, do a light massage, wash after 5 minutes.

Almonds= Grind 8 to 10 almonds to make a coarse paste and add enough honey to make a thick paste. Smear this mixture on the affected skin, massage for 5 minutes and leave it on for another 20 minutes. Wash off the pack with lukewarm water. Follow this cure 3 to 4 times a week till the melasma is gone completely.
