Pyria or periodontitis is an inflammation in gums and underlying tissues. There are some signs that will help you to find out. Red or purple gums. Bleeding from gums on brushing or touch them, dental pockets between gum and teeth, pain, shortening of gums, and most important bad smells. Scaling and maintaining proper oral hygiene is helpful.
