There are many reasons of bleeding while brushing teeth. Few are: 1) swollen gums due to deposition of dental plaque/tartar or calculus (hard deposits) on teeth. 2) wrong brushing technique 3) forceful brushing/old hardened toothbrush which causes injury to gums and start bleeding. Sometimes high b. P is also associated with bleeding from gums. So, it is advisable to see a dentist first who will look after it. Regards!
