Hello Dr, I have a right hand side foot swelling due to blood clot underneath, so I could not walk freely what is to be done? the reason for blood clot in the foot due to 2wheeler vehicle fall and vehicle rested on the right foot. No other damages, thank god. Just 2 days happened.

As you have written that the injury is only 2 days old, we need to rule out whether there is any bony injury or not and that can be confirmed by x ray. If there is no bony injury, then you should put crepe bandage with limb elevation. Intensive ice packs should be done at home. Local analgesic spray like dynapar qps can be used for local application after ice fomentation so that swelling and pain reduces. You can also take a gentle anti inflammatory medication for pain relief, medication to reduce swelling like chymoral forte may also be used depending upon the clinical condition.
