I'm pregnant with my first child. Posterior Low lying placenta grade 1 at 23 weeks. Doctor advised me to take rest for 1 month to avoid any unnecessary bleeding. Is this normal? Any chances are there for the placenta to move up?

Yes chances are there, Rest ,avoid heavy weight lifting, scan after 1 month ,I.mefiately report to your gynecologist if bleeding or spotting pv.
