Taking small amount of normal rice will not create any problems for you. You can take a combination of multi-grain atta roti along with some rice. It is never the 'Rice' which creates weight but it is the Biryani or Fried Rice which adds to the weight. So if you don't like Brown Rice, just leave it aside. Try to add more fruits to your diet. Drink more water. Eat slowly and mindfully. Eat less but enjoy your food instead of feeling guilty. Food is meant to be enjoyed and relished.
