Hi, I'm 22 years old and I'm a astrophysics research student. I also do mma and boxing, and I'm trying to get back in shape after a glycomet surgery in the chest. (It was a benign tumour.) Anyways, the query is: my coach urges me to take whey protein, and is it ok to consume it? And if so which version of it should I take (like 100% concentrate etc.).

Whey protein can be consumed. If you have lactose intolerance or you have digestion problems when you consume milk then I would suggest you to take whey isolate since it is easier to digest. But if there is no problem with digestion you can have normal whey from a good brand and please do check it's genuine or not. Other than this maintain a well balanced diet. Don't just depend on whey for your protein intake. For a personalised diet plan you can consult with me online
