Keto diet is an extreme diet where in you literally say good bye to Carbs and get max calories from Fats ( 70%) and Proteins (25%) and balance from Carbs(5%). This is completely different from the traditional diet and food habits. Such fad diets keep appearing and disappearing and cause lot of harm to the users. This diet assumes that giving up Carbs will solve all the problems. I have seen many people in last 30 years try all types of extreme diets and after one/two months they are back to square one.... And later on they put on more weight than they where they started from. .. Any diet which is radically different from your regular pattern will upset your mind and body and can't be sustained in the long run.. It is always better to make sensible and gradual changes that you can sustain lifelong rather than abrupt changes. The success of any diet should not be gauged from what it does over 2 months, but what happens after 2 years.
