We are trying for baby from 9 months .few days before my wife did her sonography. .it is normal. My semen report is also normal .one doctor suggest us to do the HSG hysterosalpingogram test. I want to ask that is this test is necessary or is there any options available?

The doctor must have suggested it because (s) she thought it was necessary. Without a suspected cause they would not order hsg (xrays) as frequently as they do us scans. The test would let the doctor understand if the uterus and tubes are normal in size, shape, and filling and there is no evidence of kinkiness in the tubes and so on. I think you should follow the doc's advice.
