My teeth are yellowish since childhood. I took laser whitening 3 months ago which somewhat improved my teeth's colour but not completely and by today my teeth are again turning yellowish though I have been using whitening toothpaste regularly. Is laser not a permanent solution? Besides this treatment what more can I do to protect my teeth's colour?

Normal color of teeth is yellowish white. Your teeth might be yellow due to excessive brushing. You can go for laminates. Which is a permanent solution if teeth are very yellow. Bleaching is not a permanent solution.

Natural color of teeth is not white but yellowish white. Your teeth color can be better determined upon examining your teeth. Laser teeth whitening is not a permanent solution. Just like any other cosmetic treatment which needs revisits to salon or beauty parlour within few months, teeth whitening on a regular interval too is needed to be done after every few months. As whatever we eat or sip leaves our teeth stained. Try taking less amounts of tea, coffee, wine, foods that contain turmeric or haldi which obviously is impractical in indian scenario. Hence, repeat the whitening procedure when you feel that your teeth are turning yellow again.
