Hi lybrate-user, I appreciate you seeking help. Nasopharyngeal cancer is cancer of the nasopharynx (upper part of the throat/ pharynx behind the nose). Nasopharyngeal cancer is treatable. However, the prognosis/ chances of recovery as well as the treatment options are influenced by a couple of factors including the cancer's stage and its associated comorbidities, age, vitality/ health, histopathological grading, size and the type of cancer etc all. I would advise you to connect with a medical oncologist specializing in head & neck cancers for the way forward. An integrative treatment with alternative medicines can certainly improve clinical outcomes. You can connect as appropriate, anytime, for a naturopathic oncology traction. Do take care and all the very best.

Hello dear, nasopharynx cancer has good response to chemoradiotherapy. Based on the extent of disease and histological variant, response varies. If biopsy report is squamous carcinoma, has good reponse to chemoradiotherapy. If report is adenoxarcinima, has poor reponse.
