In 2020 stopped divalproex sodium and in 2022 stopped sertraline now taking only clonazepam. clonazepam trying to quit and after tapperiing was taking. 0.125 mg in night. Of late im facing sleeping problem and a mild tremor in backside during sleep. After notice this problem again came back to 0.25 mg clonazepam. Now sleep in night almost normal and back side muscle tremor reduced 80-90%. My question is why even after tapering sleep problem & back side tremor when the doze is reduced? Can I completely come out of medication? Does of clonazepam went back to previous level from 0.125 to 0.25. Please advice.

For the tremor in your behind, it must be investigated since you have spondylitis, and may have nothing to do with your anxiety/depression. It seems that you overcame your depression for the doctor to take you off of the medication but the anxiety prevailed or has returned. That also means that your recovery has good potential. I suggest that you combine your medication along with therapy from a counselor. This combination will enable you to learn about your emotions and develop tools in the bargain to handle the same. Lots of exercise, good sleep hygiene, proper diet, socializing, dealing with your emotions of fear and anger will all go as long way to help you come out of this condition. There is a possibility that you may come off of the medication in time if you cooperate with the both treatment. Follow a tight time-schedule of interesting activities and involve a lot of people regularly in your daily life.
