My child was 8 months old. He is crying always and didn't eat anything but he is drinking water more. Is this indicate any problem or else nothing to worry. Please can you tell me the reason?

Water is not harmful during summers, specially if baby is not breast fed. 8 months old baby can be introduced to semisolids with less fats. He must be crawling and putting things in his mouth as a reflex. He may be having infected stools-reason for not eating. Get a stool test done & write back with report & his milk source-breast, cow, bufalloe or powder milk + type of solid food if given so far. Give baby gripe water - bonison & syrup dicyclomine for cramps, he may be having and getting cranky.
