1. First of all please try to avoid eating out. When you eat out go for healthier options- rawa idli/plain dosa/uttapam/appam with sambar, pongal, puttu with stew, sprouts, soup, salad, kebab, dhokla, lassi, buttermilk, coconut water (w/o cream), whole fruits, steamed momo with soup. 2. Exercise regularly for 1 hr. (brisk walk + kapalbhati) 3. Avoid fried/ junk/ processed/packaged/ oily/ gravy/ sugary foods, cold drinks, alcohol, glucose, energy drinks 4. Take stairs instead of lift 5. Walk instead of hiring transport 6. Drink 3 litres water daily 7. have plenty of whole fruits & vegetables, less of roti/rice, include a bowl of curd & pulse/lean meat in your meals.
