Sir, I am 25 years old, my testosterone level is >1215 ng/dl. I have checked the testosterone level twice but it is still high. I have done scrotum ultrasound and abdomen ultrasound which are normal. I have done fsh-lh-cortisol (morning) blood tests which are normal .the only problem is that my testosterone level is getting high. I am not taking any steroid and neither am I taking testosterone supplements. Doctor, can you tell me if I have a tumor inside my adrenal glands and should I still have ct scan needs to be done.

I'm not a doctor, but I can try to provide some general information that might be helpful to you. It's important to note that high testosterone levels can have various causes, and it's best to consult with a healthcare professional who can evaluate your specific situation. While high testosterone levels can sometimes indicate a tumor in the adrenal glands, it's not the only possible cause. Other factors, such as certain medications, hormone imbalances, or underlying medical conditions, can also contribute to elevated testosterone levels. Your doctor will consider your symptoms, medical history, and test results to determine the most appropriate course of action. The fact that your scrotum and abdomen ultrasounds came back normal is a positive sign, but it doesn't completely rule out the possibility of an adrenal gland tumor. If your doctor suspects a tumor, they may recommend further imaging tests such as a ct scan or an mri to get a more detailed view of your adrenal glands. These imaging techniques can provide valuable information to aid in diagnosis.
