Can I use anesthetic ointment while getting my stitches removed? I am really scared please help me.

Stitch removal is painful but not as painful as getting the stitches done. Anaesthetic ointment may or may not be needed depending on the intensity of stitches. Please feel free to ask your doctor to use the ointment in advance and the doctor can then decide to use it or not.
