I am 24 years old, working in an IT company. Because of long hours of sitting work life style, I had put on tremendous weight. I had even tried drinking luke warm water with honey and lemon but had not been able to get any effect. Please advice me what to do?

Drinking warm water with lime and honey all by itself can not help you lose body fat. You have to eat clean and exercise very well. Sedentary lifestyle can lead to lot of health issues mainly being overweight. This isn?t just a cosmetic problem. Excess body fat can negatively affect nearly every facet of life, including: Decreased mobility Poorer emotional health and self-esteem Increased risk of organ failure Poorer circulatory health Increased risk of heart disease Increased risk of stress fractures Increased risk of strokes Increased risk of cancers Fat cells can act as endocrine factories and produce hormones that influence numerous processes in the body ? most of which lead to more fat accumulation. Beyond the health of it all, carrying a lower body fat is often considered more attractive and desirable. Bottom line: Carrying a lot of excessive body fat makes health, body composition. To maintain a low body fat and/or lower body fat: 1. Exercise at least 5 times per week 2. Eat whole/unprocessed foods at regular intervals, while being aware of physical hunger/fullness cues 3. Sleep 7-9 hours per night 4. Don?t engage in extreme diets 5. Stay consistent with your habits 6. Incorporate non-exercise physical activity 7. Ignore food advertising You need a fat loss diet which comprises of whole grains like jowar, bajra, wheat, brown rice, pulses like moong, musoor, bengal gram, lots of vegetables, fruits, eggs, fish, chicken, paneer, healthy oil, nuts and seeds. You need to eat them in right proportion. Avoid eating JUNK and sugar and sweets, refined foods like maida, noodles pasta, White rice and products, bread. Drink a lot of water.
