I had been vaccinated for rabies 4 dose im in 2020. Took 2 boosters on august 2022 for a cat scratch. I had to take another 2 dose booster this 12 and 15 march 2023. My question is if I am bitten or scratched today, 05 april 2023 (within one month of previous booster), am I required to take a booster now?

If you have taken 5 doses of Anti Rabies Vaccine on days 0, 5, 7, 14 and 28 and again a booster of two injections within 2 years of vaccination, you should take 2 injections every two years as prevention and 3 injections if there was a bite again. I think you have taken only 4 doses first time and gap of boosters was for more than two years. If the bite is by rabied animal or a stray animal to be on safer side it is advisable to take full dose of 5 injections this time. Other method is to examine Antibody level estimation which is done only in 5 centres in India. May not be possible for you. Better be safe.
