My father have diabetes from last 1 year his age is 45 year so pleas can any one prescribe that what he has to eat and what to avoid to become healthier.

Hi lybrate-user, if your father follow the diet and do walk for 30 minutes in 5 days a week, he will control his diabetes, for that ask him to take one spoon fenugreek seed (soaked overnight) and take then in early morning daily, he should include all green leafy vegetable in his diet, multigrain cereals, nuts, avoid achaar, papad, sweet food items and artifical sweeteners. In fruits he can eat citrus fruits orange, mausambi, apple, pomegranate and other he can take but amount does matter, if you need the diet plan for him.
