I got scratched by a cat on friday, and went to get the anti-rabies vaccine on sunday. Will I die of rabies? The doctor scared me and told me I was late, so i'm very scared. Please help.

Your information is incomplete. Following details are more useful. 1. Cat is domestic or street. 2. Is culprit cat traced and is healthy for 10 days after the bite, or not known. 3. Is there a bite or scratch 4. Bleeding wound or no blood 5. Is the wound deep in skin 5. Exact site of bite nearer head or away. Since there is no treatment once you get rabies. To be safer you should take post exposure treatment of total 5 injections of tissue culture antirabies vaccine on days 0, 3, 7, 14 and 28. Even if you were exposed to rabies bite there is silent period called incubation period and further delay in germs traveling to nerves and to brain. Based on these factors I don't think there is such a danger. You should complete the course under ideal conditions under reliable local doctor and stop worrying.
