I am 19 years old female I have severe shoulder pain after an accident. I took an mri scan and the report has" focal detachmentment of anterior superior labrum from underlying glenoid, not extending posteriorly suggestive of sublabral foramen (normal variant) is any treatment required for this? What should I do please answer?

Hi lybrate-user sad to hear about your problem I such a young age. In mri you have been detected soft tissue injury. It can be treated conservatively with medicine and physical therapy exercises. I would suggest you to go to near by physical therapy clinic and get assessment for your pain and shoulder joint mobility like strength and range of motion. Physical therapy will be best to guide you for further treatment. Hope this will help you. Wishing you a speedy recovery thanks.
