My wife getting left side leg pain, it start from below the knee particular night, when she go to bed. She is 48 years and body weight 98 kgs, local doctor says this is initial stage of arthritis. Please let me know how I can ensure the doctor comment is right and also if the doctor comments are correct than what will be preventive action plan?

Please check for check for sugar, thyroid. She appears to be overweight and steps are to be taken for reduction of weight by 20 kgs over a period of 2 to 3 yrs. Diet control, exercise is a must for reduction of weight. You have not stated what steps you have taken so for. Meanwhile try this. Walking and pranayam is a must. Identify the mid point between the ankle bone and tendons and give pressure with a blunt edge on either side of your foot for 2 minutes. Also give pressure in the web between 2nd and 3rd finger from your toe for 2 minutes. Finally give a good massage for both feet in hot water. Identify the dipping portion on the back of your knee folding. Press this dip with both middle fingers and hold your knee with your thumbs for support. Please swing 20 times morning and evenings. This will relieve your problem. Consult after 10 days.
