Day 1 to day 7 and day 21 to rest of the cycle are known to be ?safe days? or your ?safe period?. The method is perfect only for women whose menstrual cycles are regular, i.e., 25 to 32 days cycles.This method is not completely reliable.

It is considered that one week before and one week immediately after the cycle is comparatively safer period considering first day of the period as day one but remember as such there is no safe period as 2% chances of conception are always there.
