Can a 3x4 mm thyroid cyst cause dysphagia and hoarseness I have inflammation in lrynx asnseen in laryngoscopy. Or this thyroid nodule is metastasis of another thyroid cancer may be oeaophaegal or laryngeal. What test/scan can confirm if metastasis has occurred? Please suggest.

Yes, a large cyst can cause problem in swallowing. But thyroid cyst and inflammation in larynx are two different things. If you have inflammation at larynx, it will cause difficulties in the things you have mentioned. Biopsy can be done if it to know if its cancerous or not. If its cancerous, you may go for ct scan too.
