Hello lybrate-user you've to give azithromycin 500 (not 250) you can also give augmentin 625. Twice daily after food for 5 days) major side effect-diarrhoea. So take it along with rabeprazole domeperidone sustained release tablets. Both medicine once daily before food. Give paracetamol for fever.(compatible with lactation) after 5 days do a cbc.

It is better no to feed for a few days. you can give formula milk. And start proper treatment. I suggest taking homoeopathic medicine as they have no side effects to either mother or baby.
